I started my training in 1973 in Hapkido and Eagle Claw Kung Fu. In 1980 I added the arts of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Wing Chun, Shaolin Five Animal Kung Fu, and Kenpo Karate. I received an Instructors title in Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, and Second Dan Black Belts in the Kenpo Karate and Five Animal Kung Fu Systems. In 1994 I began training in Tae Kwon Do and Tomiki Aikido. I currently hold a Fifth Dan in Jidokwan Tae Kwon Do, and Fourth Dan in Tomiki Aikido. I teach seminars, schools, private lessons, and Law Enforcement. I offer instruction in Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Tai Chi Chuan, Combative Survival Techniques, Improvised Weapons, Simplified Motion Mechanics, and Qigong. I hold a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine graduating from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in 2016. The martial arts have allowed me to travel and meet some of the world's greatest Masters. Many are included in this book. My training has taken the people who were my martial arts heroes, and has turned them into colleagues, friends, brothers, and sisters. They have openly shared their knowledge so others can learn. I have tried to honor those who came before me in doing the same to help others. I thank God for the life of learning and the path that I have traveled along the way. I have made so many friends from all over the world in my lifetime of martial arts, and continue to meet others continually.
